A missing man has been traced after his belongings were found in country park in East Dunabrtonshire.
James Campbell left his home address in Broughty Ferry around 6pm on Sunday with the intention of walking the route which stretches stretches 96 miles from Milngavie to Fort William.
The 82-year-old’s personal items of his were found at Mugdock Country Park near Milngavie on Monday morning.
Police confirmed on Tuesday morning he had been traced.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “James Campbell, 82, who had been reported missing from Broughty Ferry, has been traced.
“Thank you to all who shared our appeal.”
