A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car near Inverlochy Castle in the Highlands.
Police have fully closed the A82 at Torlundy following a crash involving a car and a pedestrian around 12.15pm on Tuesday.
The incident took place near the 13th-century castle and five-star hotel in Fort William.
The pedestrian has been taken to hospital for treatment, police said.
A diversion is in place towards the A9, with the B8004 only accessible for local residents.
A Police Scotland statement read: “The A82 at Inverlochy Castle, Torlundy, is closed in both directions following a crash involving a car and a pedestrian, which was reported around 12.15pm on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
“The pedestrian has been taken to hospital for treatment.
“Diversions are in place via the B8004 and the public is asked to avoid the area at this time if possible.”
